Vulci — Parco Archeologico e Ponte del Diavolo

One of the twelve great Etruscan cities, Vulci survives as scattered temple foundations, a Roman bridge and necropolis tombs spread across open farmland near Montalto di Castro. At the edge of the site the Fiora river has carved a natural stone arch, the so-called Ponte del Diavolo, with a small castle (Castello dell'Abbadia) overlooking the gorge.
