Bullicame is a natural thermal spring near Viterbo where 58°C sulphur water pours into a stream running through an open landscape. Dante placed it in Inferno (Canto XIV) as a river flowing through the desert of flaming sand. Today a community of bathers uses the pools year-round for free — dogs welcome in the warm stream.
