The Via dell'Amore between Riomaggiore and Manarola is the most famous stretch of the Cinque Terre coastal path — 1 km carved into the cliff above the sea, with windows through the rock giving views of the terraced vineyards and villages. Reopened after restoration in 2024. The path was originally a mule track for fishermen. Swifts nest in the cliff below. Dogs on leash.
