Varazze — Monte Beigua

The walk from Varazze beach (4 m above sea level) to Monte Beigua (1,287 m) covers extraordinary vertical distance in a short horizontal distance. From the summit you see the Ligurian sea behind you and the Po plain ahead — two entirely different worlds separated by 15 km. The Beigua Geopark is UNESCO-listed for its rare ophiolite geology.
