Valpelline & Lac de Place Moulin
Aosta Valley
Valpelline is the least-visited of Aosta's major valleys. The road ends at the Place Moulin dam (1,963 m), above which a trail continues to the Grand Combin views. Bouquetin (Alpine ibex) are frequently sighted on the slopes — the valley is part of the Gran Paradiso protection zone.
