Vallone di Saint-Grat, Valgrisenche

From the hamlet of Fornet in the Valgrisenche a path climbs the Vallone di Saint-Grat past cascades and hay meadows to the small pilgrimage chapel of Saint-Grat at around 2,100 m, backed by the glaciers of the Grande Rousse and Château Blanc. One of the region's quietest valleys, drowned in part by the Beauregard dam lower down.
