Alta Via della Val di Fassa
Trentino-Alto Adige
Val di Fassa is the heartland of the Ladin people — one of the few surviving Rhaeto-Romance language communities, with 20,000 speakers. The Alta Via high route above the valley links rifugi with uninterrupted views of the surrounding Dolomite giants. The Ladin cultural museum in Vigo di Fassa explains 2,000 years of alpine culture.
