This WWF reserve on the southern edge of the lagoon protects one of the last intact 'valli da pesca', traditional enclosed fishing lagoons, now managed for birdlife instead. Ospreys, purple herons and avocets pass through on migration, and raised walkways and hides let visitors watch the marsh without disturbing it.
