Val Fiscalina
Trentino-Alto Adige
Running south from Sesto, this valley is flanked by some of the most vertical rock in the Dolomites, including the Zwölferkofel and Elferkofel, whose north walls have drawn climbers since the early 20th century. The valley floor stays gentle and green even as the walls above turn nearly vertical, making it an approachable way to get deep into high mountain scenery.
