Monte Presolana, Val di Scalve

Monte Presolana (2,521 m) is the highest peak of the Orobie Bergamasche and a striking dolomitic tower visible from much of Lombardy. The standard route from Passo della Presolana (1,297 m) climbs via assisted metal steps and cables. Chamois and golden eagle are regularly seen. The Val di Scalve below is one of the deepest and wildest valleys in the Bergamasco Alps.
