Lago di Santa Giustina, Val di Non

Lago di Santa Giustina (613 m) is Trentino's largest artificial lake — the dam (173 m high) was the tallest in Europe when built in 1950. The Val di Non around it produces 80% of Italy's Renette apples. The lake circuit passes through apple orchards and terraced fields. Spring blossom (April–May) covers the valley in white and pink. The Brenta Dolomites rise spectacularly above the valley head.
