Val Codera has no road. The only access is by boat across Lake Como to Codera village and then a steep mule track, or by an even longer mountain path. The small hamlet at 820 m has fewer than 10 permanent inhabitants and no vehicles — just stone houses, a trattoria and the sound of the torrent. A true Lombardy secret.
