Val Brembana — Branzi to Carona

The upper Val Brembana above Foppolo is Bergamo's cheese country — branzi cheese is made only here, from high-alp summer milk. The walk from Branzi village climbs to the Laghi Gemelli (Twin Lakes) in a cirque of rocky peaks. The Branzi-Carona path is one of the finest long valley walks in the pre-Alps.
