Three stages of the TMB on the Italian side — from Courmayeur over the Col de la Seigne, across the Glacier du Miage moraines and through the Valpelline — deliver the least-crowded and arguably most dramatic section of the full loop. The Val Veny and Val Ferret stages are some of the finest walking in Europe.
