Torre Guaceto — Marine Reserve Walk

Torre Guaceto Marine Reserve between Brindisi and Ostuni protects 1,100 ha of coastal habitat — dune system, shallow lagoon, posidonia meadows and rocky coast. Loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) nests on the beach in June — one of the most reliable turtle nesting beaches in Puglia. The lagoon has flamingo in spring. Walking the dunes is restricted — the coastal path is excellent.
