Torre di Palme near Porto San Giorgio is a perfectly preserved medieval village (200 m) on a promontory above the Adriatic. The village church has a 4th-century Roman sarcophagus as an altar. The coastal path from Torre di Palme north along the cliff gives the finest panorama of the central Adriatic coast — from the Conero headland to the Abruzzo mountains.
