Tharros & Capo San Marco, Sinis

Tharros, founded by the Phoenicians around 800 BC, spreads its Roman streets, baths, temples and Punic tophet across a low isthmus, with a Spanish watchtower on the hill and the Capo San Sant'Anna church nearby. The path continues to the Capo San Marco lighthouse and quartz-sand beaches.
