Termoli Vecchia, Molise Coast

Molise

Termoli is Molise's only coastal town — a compact medieval borgo on a headland with Norman castle (1247), complete medieval walls and a Romanesque cathedral that houses the relics of St Basso. The old town is surrounded by water on three sides. The Adriatic view from the castle takes in the Tremiti Islands. Molise has only 36 km of coastline — Termoli holds the most beautiful stretch.
