Termoli — Costa Bassa Molisana

Molise

Termoli is Molise's single coastal city — a medieval borgo with Frederick II's 13th-century castle on a promontory above the Adriatic. North of the old town, the coast runs straight and sandy for 25 km toward Vasto with dunes, tamarisk scrub and beach access that attracts few tourists. The Tremiti islands are visible 20 km offshore. Winter walking along this coast is serene and empty.
