Su Suercone
Sardinia
Less known than Su Gorropu but similarly dramatic, this narrow ravine near Urzulei squeezes hikers between limestone walls barely a few metres apart in places, with several pools requiring a wade or short swim to pass. The remoteness keeps visitor numbers low even in peak season, and a local guide is strongly advised given the technical sections and lack of mobile signal. Wild Supramonte goats are a common sight on the higher ledges above the gorge.
