The Spiaggia della Pilaia north of Levanto is accessible only by boat or by a demanding 5 km cliff path through the Alta Via delle Cinque Terre. The cove is enclosed by black slate cliffs — completely undeveloped, no facilities. The water is turquoise and sheltered. One of the most authentic stretches of the Cinque Terre coast, completely unknown to most visitors.
