Spiaggia della Pelosa, Stintino
Sardinia
Spiaggia della Pelosa at Stintino in north-west Sardinia has the most copied beach photo in Sardinia — fine white sand, turquoise lagoon and the 16th-century Torre della Pelosa on a rock islet. The beach is inside the Asinara National Park buffer zone. Entry is now managed by quota to protect the sand (numbers limited in July–August). The Asinara island reserve is visible across the water.
