Passignano sul Trasimeno has the finest lakeside beach on Lake Trasimeno — fine sand, shallow warm freshwater and a medieval village with towers on the hill above. Greater flamingo has been resident on the lake since 2018. Little egret and grey heron on the shallows. The beach faces west — outstanding sunsets over the lake. Dogs welcome year-round outside July–August peak.
