Sorgenti del Volturno, Rocchetta
Molise
The Sorgenti del Volturno at Rocchetta a Volturno are among the most powerful karst springs in the southern Apennines — several openings in a cliff face emit 6–8 m³/s of water at a constant 10°C. The spring park has a short walk from the village through riparian forest. Brown trout and bullhead are visible in the crystal water. The surrounding Mainarde mountains are National Park territory.
