The Livenza is born full-grown from a set of deep blue-green pools at the foot of the Cansiglio karst, beside the pilgrimage church of Santissima and the prehistoric pile-dwelling site of Palù di Livenza. The Parco Rurale San Floriano rises just behind, with a chestnut-wood loop to a panoramic church.
