Sorgenti del Biferno, Bojano
Molise
Rain falling on the Matese re-emerges here all at once: dozens of springs (the "Rio Freddo", "Pietrecadute" and others) burst from the base of the mountain and join into a full river within a few hundred metres. Flat paths follow the braided channels past restored watermills and cress beds on the northern edge of Bojano.
