Sigillo — Fonti del Chiascio

The Chiascio, which eventually flows past Assisi and Bettona before joining the Tiber, rises from a group of springs in the valley below Sigillo, at the northern edge of the Monte Cucco park. A path follows the young river from its source, easy and quiet, distinct from the caving routes higher up the massif.
