Sestri Levante — Isola Peninsula & Baia delle Favole

Sestri Levante's peninsula, locally called "the Isola" though no longer a true island, divides the town's two bays: the quiet Baia del Silenzio and the more open Baia delle Favole, named for the fairy tales Hans Christian Andersen is said to have written while staying here. A path crosses the wooded peninsula between them.
