Sesto al Reghena — Abbazia di Santa Maria in Sylvis

Founded in the 8th century, the abbey at Sesto al Reghena grew into one of the most influential Benedictine houses in the region, its frescoed crypt and bell tower still standing beside the slow-moving Reghena river. A flat path follows the riverbank around the abbey grounds, easy and largely shaded.
