Serra di Crispo (Giardino degli Dei), Pollino

Serra di Crispo (2,053 m) carries the most famous stand of Pinus leucodermis in the park: gnarled, silver-barked "loricato" pines, some over 900 years old, growing straight from the limestone with the Piani di Pollino below and Serra Dolcedorme opposite. Long approaches climb from Piano Ruggio, Colle dell'Impiso or Bosco Magnano.
