Sentiero Frassati

Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901–1925) was a Turin student who combined social activism with a passionate love of mountains. Beatified in 1990, he is expected to be canonised. The Sentiero Frassati connects his beloved peaks above Pollone and Biella through chestnut forests and alpine meadows — a pilgrimage with altitude.
