This section of the Sentiero Francescano della Pace climbs out of Gubbio through olive groves and oak woodland on its way toward Assisi, tracing the route tradition holds Saint Francis once walked between the two towns. It's quieter than the Cammino di Assisi itself, with wide views back over the Gubbio valley.
