Sentiero della Pace, Adamello

The Sentiero della Pace (Path of Peace) follows the line of the WWI Italian-Austrian front from the Stelvio Pass to Mori on Lake Garda — through glaciers, high altitude fortifications and mountain tunnels blasted by both armies. It is the most atmospheric long-distance path in the Alps for understanding the mountain warfare of 1915-1918.
