Sentiero dei Franchi

Tradition holds that Frankish troops used this hillside route to outflank the Lombards guarding the Val di Susa. Today it links Avigliana's lakes with the Sacra di San Michele and on toward Giaveno through chestnut and oak woods, hilltop chapels and constant views over the Turin plain.
