Sentiero Chantre, Morgex
Aosta Valley
The Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle is Europe's highest commercial wine appellation, produced from vines at 900–1,200 m that are not grafted — phylloxera never reached this altitude. The Sentiero Chantre walks through the vineyard terraces above the Dora Baltea with Mont Blanc visible at the valley head. A tasting at the Cave du Vin Blanc de Morgex concludes the walk.
