Sentiero Azzurro — Riviera di Ponente

The western branch of the Ligurian blue trail links the port of Savona to Imperia along a coast of stepped olive terraces, medieval towers and turquoise coves. Far less crowded than Cinque Terre, the path dips repeatedly to sea-level villages where fresh focaccia and anchovy pies make excellent fuel stops.
