The Sellata pass, between Abriola and Sasso di Castalda, is the trailhead for Monte Arioso and Monte Pierfaone, grassy 1,700 m tops rising from thick beech woods with a view over the Val d'Agri and, in clear weather, to the Sirino and the Pollino. Snow-shoeing country in winter.
