Sella Mangart & Rifugio Zacchi

A dizzying military road with hairpins and tunnels rises above the Laghi di Fusine to the Sella Mangart at 2,072 m, on the Slovenian border. From the pass a path traverses to Rifugio Zacchi below the Špik and the Mangart itself, with the Fusine lakes far below and the whole Julian range around.
