Sarre — Castello Reale

King Vittorio Emanuele II bought Sarre's castle as a base for hunting in the surrounding mountains, and its interior is still lined with hundreds of ibex and chamois horns collected on royal expeditions. The grounds around it, just outside Aosta, are open lawn and woodland with views up the valley toward Monte Emilius.
