The sanctuary of Notre-Dame de Plout sits on a green shoulder at about 900 m, a much-loved local pilgrimage goal with a colonnaded forecourt looking straight across to Aosta and the Emilius group. Easy lanes and chestnut-wood paths link it to Saint-Marcel and the start of the Servette mines walk.
