Ru Prévôt, Quart

Aosta Valley

The Ru Prévôt is one of the valley's historic "rus", open water channels dug in the Middle Ages to carry snowmelt to the dry south-facing slopes. The maintenance path beside it contours the hill above Quart and Saint-Christophe through vineyards and chestnut wood, level the whole way, with Aosta and the Emilius group across the valley.
