Rocca Pendice's volcanic rock rises out of chestnut wood above Teolo, topped by the fragmentary Castello di Speronella and known since the 1930s as one of the Veneto's first climbing schools. A walkers' path skirts the crag to the ridge, with a view over the whole Euganean cluster and the Padua plain.
