Riserva Naturale Torriana e Montebello

Two hilltop castles, one at Torriana and one at Montebello, watch over this reserve of Mediterranean oak woodland in the Marecchia valley, the latter tied to local legends of a ghostly noblewoman said to still wander its towers. The ridge trail connecting them gives wide views over the Rimini hills toward the Adriatic, and buzzards and kestrels are a common sight overhead.
