Riserva Nazzano Tevere-Farfa

Lazio

A dam on the Tiber below Nazzano has created a slow lake and reedy wetland that draws herons, cormorants, ospreys on passage and thousands of wintering ducks. Flat paths and a visitor centre with hides sit on the wooded bank, with the hill town of Nazzano and the Sabina hills behind.
