Monte Acuto, Appennino Marchigiano

Monte Acuto (1,264 m) above Camerino in the Marche Apennines is a ridge walk through old beech and oak with roe deer and wild boar. In October the porcini mushrooms are exceptional. On the clearest days the Adriatic, the Tyrrhenian (through the Umbrian gap) and the Ligurian sea are theoretically visible. Wolf confirmed in 2022. Dogs off-leash.
