The Riserva Naturale della Farma protects a wild river canyon cut by the Farma torrent through the Sienese Colline Metallifere. The river is crystal clear with natural rock pools for swimming. Otter tracks are found regularly on the river banks (otter recolonised in the 2010s). The walking trail follows the river through oak and chestnut canyon woodland. Almost unknown outside local circles.
