Riserva del Tzatelet, Aosta

Aosta Valley

The Tzatelet is a whaleback of rock smoothed by the ancient Dora glacier on the northern edge of Aosta. A nature reserve protects its steppe-like grassland and reptiles; a short circular path climbs to the top for a plan-view of the city's Roman street grid and the surrounding peaks.
