Riserva Naturale Speciale del Bric Nasi near Bossolasco in the Langhe is an old Turkey oak (Quercus cerris) reserve above the Belbo valley — one of the few strictly protected forest reserves in the Langhe (a landscape dominated by Barolo and Barbaresco vineyards). Edible dormouse (ghiro). Wildcat confirmed. Pine marten. Peregrine on the sandstone cliffs above. Dogs off-leash.
