Rimini — Ponte di Tiberio & Arco d'Augusto

The Ponte di Tiberio, completed under Emperor Tiberius around 20 AD, still carries pedestrian and light traffic across the Marecchia river two thousand years after construction, while the Arco d'Augusto at the old town's other end marked the terminus of the historic Via Flaminia from Rome. Walking between them crosses the whole historic centre.
