Rifugio Calvi, Orobie Bergamasche

Rifugio Calvi (2,015 m) in the Orobie Bergamasche sits above a chain of three glacial lakes. The surrounding landscape of smooth glaciated granite and crystal lakes is among the finest in the Bergamo Alps. The Adamello-Presanella group and the distant Ortles are visible from the terrace. Chamois and marmots are abundant. The access from Carona passes through the Foppolo meadows.
